Ress Motor Works was founded in 1982 by Fred Ress, inspired by his passion for BMW after serving in Germany. Frustrated with the lack of integrity in automotive shops, he dedicated his business to servicing only BMWs, establishing it as Indianapolis’s premier BMW service center. Over the years, customers have come from across Indiana and surrounding states to benefit from this focused expertise. Fred’s son, Evan, grew up in the business and joined in 2010 while studying automotive technology. After Fred’s retirement in 2019, Evan continued the legacy, expanding services to include MINI Cooper vehicles produced after 2016, reflecting their commitment to BMW’s advancements while specializing in what they know best.
